In this Signature Helix LT preset—also compatible with Helix Floor, Helix Native, and Helix Rack—you'll be getting the Steve Vai signature tones I created based on my extensive knowledge of his tones from years of listening to and watching him play.
Mr. Vai has some legendary tones that are signature to some of the songs I've included as names of the Snapshots in this preset pack. One of the unique things about the Helix version is that it uses a Drive block as the main amp. Can you guess which one?

The POD Go preset is a bit different from the Helix preset due to the lack of DSP capacity on the POD Go, but it's still based on what I know from his tones over the years.
As with all my presets, once you purchase my presets, whenever significant changes are made as I continue to tweak the tones you'll always have the most up-to-date versions.

In this preset pack, you'll get the following snapshots:
Snapshot 1: FTLOG- Vai's main lead tone, based on his legendary song "For the Love of God."
- A sparkling clean tone with compression based on his tune of the same name.
- A bit of gain to this one, but Steve rolls down the volume to control his dynamics in the song then cranks it for the heavier lead sections.
- This one has an interesting octaves twist to it much like the sound he uses in the song.
- Another signature Vai tune for use with a slide and incorporating the Wah pedal and a phaser effect.
- This tune has more of a laid-back gain structure but still good enough for a lead tone. Also incorporates a thicker delay.
- One of Steve's trademark sounds is the Whammy pedal, and this snapshot mimics that effect from the song of the same name.
- One of my favorite tunes, incorporating a nice squishy lead tone with heavy delay.
