Where does self-mastery begin?

Self mastery begins with choosing setting and cherishing worthy standards, making personal choices and learning from those choices observed in the ideal role model. Self mastery begins with a humble search and understanding of truth, so that we may correctly apply the principles and laws that lead to creative adaptation, followed by creative transformation.

Self mastery does not mean we will never make a mistake, it means we make right every wrong that we are able to make right. To learn to understand the cause and therefore understanding how it may be transformed; overcoming error by making correct choices.

Self mastery begins with a desire in faith and humility, as we recognize our weakness and strengths, with a healthy self regard; the confidence leading to self respect and self esteem that do not depend upon any material possession.

Self mastery is to see errors as opportunities for discovery and growth, to be responsible and reasonable; acting with this end in mind. Self mastery is about having good motives, living by correct principles and doing or applying things in harmony with truth: in principle, in time, in place, and in season.

Self mastery is to do what we need to do, because we really want to do what is necessary. We have then, learned to love all that we do, and have reached that standard of perfection--that allows us to have joy in all things that are. praiseworthy, lovely, virtuous and of good report.
