The Pachira Pullover, named for a tropical tree often sold with a braided trunk, is a traditional favourite that gets an update with travelling braided cables and contrasting colour trim. This mock turtleneck raglan is packed full of clever details. The movement of the cables provides the flattering illusion of waist shaping while retaining a relaxed comfortable fit. The sleeves are worked in the round to the underarms, then put on hold. The front and back hems for the split hem are worked separately, then joined to work the body in the round. The Raglan shaping, worked together with the body and sleeves is accented with the cables, and the contrasting trim peeks through for a highlight that can be made subtle or daring with your choice of colours!
