Grade 9 GCSE Jekyll and Hyde Chapter 10 quotes and analysis
Made for OCR but applicable for all exam boards
CONTAINS QUOTES AND ANALYSIS FOR ONLY CHAPTER 10
(If you want moments for all chapters look here: https://payhip.com/b/AEGgn)
During your first paper if you study OCR English Literature, you will be asked to answer a 40 mark question that look like this:
'The Murder of Sir Danvers Carew is a turning point in the novel.' How far do you agree with this statement?
Explore at least two moments from the novel to support your ideas.
[40 marks]
As you can see, the question asks you to explore ‘moments’ in the novel and the mark scheme will mention possible ‘moments’ in the novel you could’ve discussed. A moment is a short snippet of the novel. Learning the quotes in moments made it easier for me to know what I was going to write about in the exam. That is why this resource is described as a moment.
If you do not take OCR English Literature you can ignore the ‘moment’ and simply look at the quotes and analysis.
