English

The story of the Scialoia surname: a Norman name or not, the disputed origin of Scialoia, the dozens of records from Montemiletto and the soldier who fell in the Great War, the surname in nineteenth-century printed books next to scholars and public figures, the hills of Avellino and the towns where the name is most deeply rooted, the map of regions, and an honest page on the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
