How the calculator prices a job

It starts from how long each room takes and what you charge per hour, then adjusts for the type of clean, condition, pets and add-ons. Change your numbers once on the "My Rates" tab and every quote and your whole price list update. The starting rates are typical US prices (about $50 per cleaner-hour), so it works out of the box.

Do I need Excel?

No. The calculator works in free Google Sheets, as well as Excel on Windows or Mac.

I'm just starting out and don't know my rates yet. Will it still work?

Yes. It comes filled in with typical US starting rates (about $50 per cleaner-hour), so it prices jobs out of the box. Change them on "My Rates" once you know your own numbers.

Can I put my business name and logo on the documents?

Yes. The agreement, intake form, estimate and checklists are editable Word files, and they open in Google Docs and Pages too.

Is the agreement legally binding?

It's a plain-English starting template, not legal advice. Laws differ by state, so have a local attorney review it once before you rely on it.
