Weekly Parasha Practice
A four-week journey through parasha, poetry, movement, and reflection.
A four-week journey through parasha, poetry, movement, and reflection.
Each week, I’ll share a new 20–30 minute gentle yoga practice inspired by something that’s resonating with me in the weekly parasha.
This isn’t a Torah class, and you don’t need to know anything about yoga or the parasha beforehand. It’s simply an invitation to slow down, move, breathe, and spend a little time with an idea from the week in a different way.
Our first four-week series moves from Bereshit through Vayera, with a new recorded practice released every Thursday afternoon so you can return to it whenever it works for you.
I’m Eliorah, though I usually go by Ellie—a poet and yoga teacher drawn to the places where Jewish life, creativity, and the body meet.
I started creating these practices because sometimes I don’t just want to think about an idea. I want to sit with it, breathe with it, move through it, and see what it opens up.
That’s what Weekly Parasha Practice is for.
Week 1 · Bereshit — Created on Purpose
A practice inspired by creation, inherent worth, and taking up the space you were created to inhabit. Released Thursday, October 8.
Week 2 · Noach
A new practice inspired by the week’s parasha, released Thursday, October 15.
Week 3 · Lech Lecha
A new practice inspired by the week’s parasha, released Thursday, October 22.
Week 4 · Vayera
A new practice inspired by the week’s parasha, released Thursday, October 29.
Each practice is gentle, approachable, and designed to be meaningful whether yoga is already part of your life or you’re simply curious to try something new.
