Spring Daffodil Art Project Spring Flower Art Lesson Spring Art Activity
In this Spring Daffodil Art Project, students learn to draw and paint a vibrant daffodil while exploring line, color and creative expression. Guided drawing steps break the flower into simple shapes and lines, and then students outline their drawing and add paint.
The lesson suits spring art lessons, flower and nature units, elementary art classrooms, homeschool art and substitute teacher plans. Students experiment with line work, color choices and creative backgrounds, so every finished daffodil looks different, and the bright paintings make a lovely seasonal display.

WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
Students draw a daffodil step by step, practice using line to create petals, stems and details, and outline their drawing with marker or felt pen. Then they paint the daffodil and background with classroom paint materials and make their own color and background choices.
