.ABOUT THE PATTERN
A fun and repetitive knit,
the Where the Buffalo Roam Shawl pattern is a large, cozy DK weight shawl
perfect for fall and winter. The pattern includes three alternate design options for variety in size and color combinations.
The pattern was inspired by the plains of Montana -- where the buffalo roam. It features a wheat cable motif representing the wheat fields often found in the plains and garter sections representing the endless plains that seemingly stretch on forever. The end result? A cable lover’s dream
This pattern creates a triangle shawl that is worked top down. Learn more about the design inspiration, knitting experience, and wearing experience here
This pattern includes both written and charted instructions, but the instructions are separated within the pattern PDF, so you can just print what you nee
d. The pattern also includes instructions for three alternative design ideas, plus a blank diagram to create your own alternate design. I’ve even included yarn quantities for each repeat, so you’ll know just how much yarn you’ll need of each color!SIZING
