In this document you will find a comprehensive guide on how to plan an English unit. I have developed this for my school and all staff members use it to plan English.

It is broken down into three areas:

• immerse and investigate
• practice and refine
• create and communicate

In each section, there are ideas of types of lessons as well as a lesson planning template at the end.
