How to Play

Press Start Game, then clear every insect in the swarm. Use a mouse click on desktop or a finger tap on phones and tablets.

• Destroy all targets to move to the next level.
• Build combos by hitting insects quickly.
• Catch rare golden insects for bigger points.
• Tap power-ups for slow motion or double score.

Level Rules

• Level 1 starts with 18 targets.
• Each new level adds 1 more target.
• Level 10 has 27 targets.
• Target speed increases by 1% each level.
• Each game session randomly chooses 15 insect types from the full roster.

Special Horizontal Bugs

Every level includes three special insects that race from left to right in straight lines.

• They start at the same time from the left side.
• Each one begins at a random height.
• Their speed changes while they travel.
• If one escapes off the right side, it restarts from the left at a new random height.

Scoring

Different insects award different points. Harder and rarer insects are worth more. Quick hits increase your combo multiplier, while missed taps reset the combo.

Tip: Save slow motion for crowded levels and chase golden insects whenever they appear.

Power-Ups

• Slow Motion: slows insects temporarily.
• 2x Score: doubles points temporarily.

Sounds and Effects

Flutter Frenzy includes retro-style background music, unique insect hit sounds, glowing animated bugs, and vivid firework explosions when targets are destroyed.

Most browsers require the player to press or tap Start Game before music and sound effects can play.

Installation

No installation is required.

1. Open the project folder.
2. Double-click flutterfrenzy.html.
3. The game opens in your default browser.

You can also right-click flutterfrenzy.html and open it with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or another modern browser.

Sharing and Web Posting

The game is self-contained in flutterfrenzy.html. You can share that file directly or upload it to a static web host. No external image, audio, or library files are required.
