The Pampas Tee is my go-to elevated basic summer top. An airy lace yoke and wide I-Cord trimmed neckline keep this tee breathable. Top down construction is easily modified to create the perfect look just for you.

The lace instructions are offered in both charted and written formats, so you can comfortably knit with your preferred style. This would be a great first sweater pattern for a confident beginner knitter with experience working in the round.

Construction

The Pampas Tee is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is cast on and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The yoke lace is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down.

Techniques Used In This Pattern

Long-Tail cast on, German short rows, basic lace patterning, knitted cast on, picking up stitches, I-Cord bind off
