Addiction Pharmacology is a required course for those seeking CADC certification. This course also counts toward CRM recertification.
This class introduces students to the basics of drug chemistry and the impacts to the brain and body systems. The course considers current drug use and psychological/behavioral aspects of client misuse or addiction and explores treatment modalities including medication assisted treatments. It is highly recommended that students purchase "Uppers Downers All-Arounders" 8th edition for this course. This text can be found on Amazon.
This course is worth 15 hours and is self paced. Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate of completion.
