Twisting and thrilling

In My Enemy, JD Armstrong places the reader in a plausible setting; one which could be fitting for just about anyone. Bad relationships happen and the start of this short story immediately has the reader thinking they may already know where it is heading. But think again because it takes a twist. Anyone would hope to never be in a relationship tangle like this one. JD, with his smooth and catchy writing style, is able to describe the characters enough in this short period of time to keep you wanting to read. I can only imagine how this story might be if it were longer.

My Enemy

I have seen the movie fatal attraction multiple times (great movie), so i was very curious how JD Armstrong was going to use that fatal attraction into his story.

The story is easy to read. First part is the story is about, of course, cheating on his wife and the moment she finds out. From that moment the story is getting very, very attractive and exciting due to the fact that JD Armstrong is going to combine the fatal attraction with some black magic. Especially the last one will make sure that this is not another fatal attraction story but it gives you the unexpected.
