About RISO

Risography is a printing process that uses the basic principle of ink transfer through a stencil for each colour.

RISO inks are rice oil based and produce a unique texture, which gives a different finish to each print. As the paper is fed through the machine repeatedly for each colour, a certain degree of misregistration is to be expected. Each print is unique and that's why I love it so much.
