A tramp, a gentleman, a poet, a dreamer, always hopeful of romance and adventure. James H Duncan is a New York native, an editor for Writer’s Digest, and the founding editor of Hobo Camp Review. After graduating from Southern Vermont College with a degree in writing, James took to the road and traversed the long stretches of highway between Maine and California, Mexico and Montreal, finding moments of respite in used book shops, dive bars, all-night cafes, rooming houses, wine shops, and while wandering around train station platforms minding his own business. His poetry and short stories have found homes in Apt, Red Fez, Reed Magazine, Zygote In My Coffee, Poetry Salzburg Review, Pulp Modern, and Gutter Eloquence Magazine, among many others.
