Your Journey

Your Business Journey Starts Here

Starting a business can be exciting, but it can also be confusing.

You may have a business idea but not know where to start. You may already have a business but feel unsure about what to do next. Or perhaps you simply want someone with real business experience to help you look at your situation from a different perspective.

This is where Business Journey Coaching begins.

I created this coaching program to share what I have learned through real-world business experience. Rather than giving you only theories or generic business advice, I will work with you to understand your specific situation, your goals, your ideas, and the challenges you are facing.

Our coaching starts with one simple question:

Where are you now, and where do you want your business to go?

Together, we will work through your idea, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop practical next steps that you can actually take.

What You Can Expect

  • Understand your business idea and direction
  • Identify potential customers and opportunities
  • Recognize challenges before they become bigger problems
  • Learn how to look at your business from a consultant's perspective
  • Develop practical next steps
  • Build confidence in making business decisions
  • Learn from real-world business experience

This is not about giving you a magic formula for success.

Every business is different.

My role is to help you think clearly, ask the right questions, recognize opportunities, and make practical decisions based on your own situation.

Your First Milestone

Our first coaching session focuses on understanding your starting point.

We will discuss your business idea, your goals, your current situation, and the challenges or opportunities you see.

By the end of the first milestone, you should have a clearer understanding of where you are, where you want to go, and what your next step should be.

How It Works

After your payment is received, you can send me an email with your preferred date and time for the coaching session.

I will then provide three available timetable options based on your request.

Once you choose one of the available times, your coaching session will be confirmed.

The coaching session will be conducted online through VooV Meeting, allowing us to work together wherever you are.

This Is Your Journey

You don't need to have everything figured out before you start.

You bring your idea, ambition, questions, or business challenge.

I bring my experience, perspective, and practical guidance.

Together, we take the next step.

Your Journey. My Experience. Real Business. Real Action.

Understanding Customers and Their Needs

Welcome to the second lesson of Business Foundations.

In Lesson 1, we learned that every business connects a customer, a need, a solution, and money.

Now we will focus on the most important part of that system: the customer.

A business cannot succeed simply because it has a good product or service.

It succeeds when it understands its customers and provides something they value.

Why Customers Matter

Many businesses make the mistake of focusing too much on what they want to sell.

They may ask:

But the better questions are:

A business exists because customers are willing to exchange money for something they consider valuable.

If the business does not understand what customers value, it may waste time and money offering the wrong solution.

Customer Needs and Wants

Customers may have different types of needs.

Some needs are practical:

Other needs may be emotional or social:

A successful business often understands both the practical and emotional reasons behind a purchase.

For example, someone may buy an expensive coffee not only because they are thirsty, but also because they enjoy the atmosphere, convenience, quality, or feeling associated with the brand.

Customer Segments

Not every customer is the same.

A business may serve different groups of people, known as customer segments.

Customer segments can be based on:

For example, a fitness business might serve:

Each group may want a different experience.

A business that tries to serve everyone may end up serving no one particularly well.

Think Like a Consultant

Imagine a clothing store says:

A beginner might immediately suggest discounts.

But a consultant should ask:

The problem may not be the price.

The real issue could be poor product selection, weak customer service, unclear marketing, or a mismatch between the business and its target customers.

Customer Research

Businesses can learn about customers in several ways.

They can:

The goal is not simply to collect information.

The goal is to discover patterns.

For example, if many customers complain that a service is too slow, that may indicate an operational problem.

If customers repeatedly ask for a product the business does not offer, that may indicate a new opportunity.

Your Exercise

Choose the same business you studied in Lesson 1, or select a different one.

Answer the following questions:

1. Who are the main customers of this business?

2. What problem or need brings them to the business?

3. What do customers value most about the business?

4. What might customers dislike or find frustrating?

5. What other businesses could customers choose instead?

6. What could this business do to understand its customers better?

Try to answer based on evidence rather than assumptions.

If possible, speak with a real customer, read online reviews, or observe how people interact with the business.

Your Second Milestone

After completing this lesson, you should be able to identify a business's main customer groups and explain the needs those customers are trying to satisfy.

Remember:

This is the second step toward thinking like a business consulta
