Buddlings - PDF knitting pattern
Buddlings is worked sideways, using short rows for shaping and creation of the pattern. Offsets large and small leaves alternate around the Hat. Worked in DK weight yarn the Hat can easily be adjusted for a range of sizes by changing needle size, gauge or yarn.
Designed for the retreat I co-hosted with Vogue Knitting, Buddlings is an ideal pattern to start your short-row colourwork journey with.
Hat Description
Buddlings is a sideways knit gently slouchy Hat. It uses short row colourwork to create a motif of pairs of leaves within one panel, which is then repeated all around the Hat. It’s worked in garter stitch throughout and has a smooth crown.
