Nostalgia Twist is an 82" x 90" paper pieced quilt pattern. THERE IS NO CURVED PIECING OR Y SEAMS IN THIS QUILT!
The pattern offers you the freedom to make it your own. There are 2 different basket blocks to chose from and if you hadn't noticed the layout difference in the 2 photos let me point them out to you.
In the red version: The square in a square block immediately follows the flying geese border around the medallion. The delectable mountains follow the square in a square. In the green version these two blocks are swapped for a dramatic affect.
The red version has one seam flying geese (directions not included) and 3d pinwheels (directions not included). Perhaps you do not like the basket blocks provided in the pattern. Place 4 of your own blocks in their place or fill the space with background fabric. In the green version the entire quilt is paper pieced.
