Polymath Coaching

My polymath coaching equips leaders and organizations with interdisciplinary insight, integrative problem‑solving, and strategic clarity to navigate complexity and thrive across systems.

The Story Behind My Coaching

My coaching was shaped by years spent across hospital behavioral health units, emergency departments, community mental health, EAP services, and higher education classrooms filled with adult learners. Each setting revealed the same pattern: people doing their best inside systems that struggled to meet their needs.

In hospital and ED behavioral health, I witnessed human vulnerability at its peak. Crises happened quickly, yet the forces behind them stress, trauma, workplace pressure, inequity had been building for years. Those experiences taught me that diagnoses never tell the full story; systems and environments play a bigger role than anyone admits.

In community mental health, I saw resilience in its purest form. Individuals and families navigated instability while still showing incredible potential. Many crises could have been prevented with better workflows, trauma‑informed practices, and support that aligned with real‑life challenges.

My work in Employee Assistance Programs revealed how much employees and leaders carry behind the scenes. Burnout, conflict, caregiver strain, moral injury, and organizational stress often showed up as “performance issues.” What people needed was not judgment, but clarity, guidance, and a healthier system to operate within.

As an adjunct teaching adult learners, I saw students juggling jobs, families, health challenges, and major life transitions. Their success grew when they felt seen, respected, and supported as whole people, not just as students.

Across every environment, one truth stood out: people weren’t failing, systems were.

My coaching exists to bridge that gap. I help individuals and organizations navigate complexity, redesign behaviors, strengthen resilience, and create conditions where people can truly thrive.

About Bridging the Gap

My coaching was shaped by years of working in hospital behavioral health units, emergency departments, community mental health, EAP services, and higher education classrooms with adult learners. In each setting, I saw the same truth: people were doing everything they could to function, lead, and learn inside systems that were never designed with their realities in mind. Crisis work taught me how environment, stress, and structure shape behavior. Community mental health revealed resilience that thrives when systems are supportive rather than punitive. EAP work exposed the hidden burdens leaders and employees carry beneath professional expectations. Teaching adult learners showed how success grows when people feel seen as whole human beings.

Across all these experiences, I learned that individuals don’t fail—systems do. My coaching exists to bridge that gap by helping people and organizations navigate complexity, strengthen resilience, and create environments where sustainable growth is truly possible.
