What inspires your expectations? Do they originate with those around you or with the Word of the Most High God? Are your expectations for the future influenced by the past? That is a very constrained viewpoint. None of us comprehends everything the Most High God did to bring us to the present moment. Don't put limits on an infinite God. Everybody's life includes an unexpected event that catches them off guard.

Things don’t just happen. Every action has a corresponding reaction. Like Hannah, you will need to engage in some activity if you hope to achieve your expectations. When you do your part, it creates space in your life for the Most High God to bring about the unexpected. Are you hoping for a supernatural event to occur in your life? Take nothing for granted.
