How does the custom game design process work, and what is our involvement?
The process is collaborative and structured in four key stages:
Deep Dive: We start with a detailed questionnaire and a 60-minute strategy call to fully grasp your challenge, goals, and team culture.
Concept & Proposal: You receive and approve a formal proposal outlining the game concept, mechanics, and learning outcomes before any design work begins.
Development & Feedback: We design the core structure and all materials, incorporating your feedback at a key approval milestone.
Delivery & Onboarding: You receive the complete game kit and a dedicated onboarding session for your facilitator.
Your input is crucial at the beginning and at the key approval stage to ensure the final product is perfectly tailored to your needs.
Who owns the Intellectual Property (IP) of the custom game?
Upon final payment, your company receives full and exclusive IP rights to the delivered game kit for internal use. This means you can run the session multiple times with different teams within your organization without any additional licensing fees. We only retain the right to showcase the project (under a strict NDA and without disclosing sensitive data) in our professional portfolio.
What if the game doesn't solve our specific challenge or our team doesn't engage with it?
This is precisely why our process starts with a deep diagnostic phase. The game is not created in a vacuum; it is engineered around your defined objectives. Furthermore, the Core Design & Structure Approval milestone ensures you are fully aligned with the approach before we build the final assets.
However, to guarantee your confidence, we include a 30-minute onboarding call to equip your facilitator with the insights and techniques to successfully run the session and maximize engagement. Our goal is to provide a tool that delivers tangible results.
