This is Tiamat-The lost secrets of ancient earth volume one.

Before the solar system as we know it existed, a water-rich planet called Tiamat orbited the Sun where the asteroid belt now lies, and orbiting Tiamat as its moon was the larger, less dense body we now call Earth. Tiamat’s gravity raised powerful tides and waves on its moon Earth, while Earth’s gravity barely affected Tiamat. This original system was stable for eons, with Earth locked in a perfect geosynchronous orbit around Tiamat—the same face of Earth always pointing toward its parent planet. Then the rogue world Kingu tore Tiamat apart: Tiamat’s iron core became Mercury, its shattered crust became the asteroid belt, and a large fragment of Tiamat’s mantle remained bound to Earth as our Moon. Earth was flung free to become a planet in its own right, carrying with it the Moon’s inherited geosynchronous orbit—a unique feature seen nowhere else in the solar system, and the undeniable fingerprint of Earth’s true origin as a former moon of the lost planet Tiamat.
