Wrap Like Mamie scarf PDF knitting pattern

This lovely yarn comes from one of my favourite local dyers (Amy of Mamie and Florrie) and her business is named after women who were important to her. Mamie was her grandmother and this scarf will wrap you in love, as Mamie did when she was here.

YARN

Mamie and Florrie 100% Merino Singles (Mamie’s House colourway)

100g – 366 metres

Mamie and Florrie Lace 72% Kid Mohair 28% Silk

50g – 425 metres

One skein of each. The yarns are held together throughout.

NEEDLES

3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles (80 or 100 cms cable)

SIZE

72" x 6"

GAUGE

23 stitches and 36 rows = 10 cm. The depth of the scarf between the garter stitch borders is 4”/10 cms.

CONSTRUCTION

The body of the scarf is knitted sideways, as a long rectangle. The ends are then added and finished with tassels. It features simple but stylish stitch patterns which have video assistance.
