They say it takes 1,000 hours of practice to master a subject, to become professional in a field.

And if that were true… could you actually become a professional in the art of the Selfie?

For over ten years, every February, I’ve taken a self-portrait each day. Through this ritual I’ve developed a rather unique expertise, and in this retrospective book of 105 pages, I’m sharing what goes on behind the scenes.

Along the way, while exploring photography, installation and performance, I discovered new passions such as sewing, 3D printing, and robotics.

I learned from my mistakes, I learned, and then learned some more—while creating indelible memories with the people close to me.

This project is a personal story told through visual narratives where constraints fuel creativity. Looking back, it feels like a collection of fragments of myself.
