This pdf contains all the examples from my YouTube video tutorial Jazz Piano: Chord Voicing and Voice Leading Lesson 4- Pentatonic Chord Voicings. All the examples are shown in the pdf in all 12 keys. In this lesson I explain and demonstrate how, by rearranging the notes of three different types of Pentatonic Scales (Major, b3rd and Dominant) some very useful chord voicings can be created. These are often played as rootless voicings and the same voicings can often be used over several different roots. Although I have shown all the possibilities by rearranging the notes of the Penatatonic Scales some of these voicings do not work as well as others. In this lesson I focus on 4 different Dominant 7th Chord Voicings created from these Pentatonic Scales and I demonstrate how they can be used when comping in a 12 Bar Blues.

Pentatonic Chord Voicings

Exactly as described: the voicings demonstrated in Peter's video, but transposed for practice or reference into all twelve keys.
