Many of us are familiar with the story of Job in the Bible: not only did he experience terrible suffering, but his friends famously offered him false theology, bad advice, and condemnation. They aren’t the best examples as encouraging friends! Today, many of us are unsure how to approach a friend who is experiencing suffering.
