INTERMEDIATE: Crocheters looking to follow this pattern should know how to:

• Read a crochet pattern – There is NOT a video tutorial for this easy crochet blanket pattern.
• Work the basic stitches – Chain, slip stitch, single crochet, and double crochet.
• Understand how to work in the round as well as closing rounds.
• Be comfortable with placing several stitches into the same stitch or a chain space.
• Be familiar with counting chain 2’s as a double crochet and slip stitching into the second chain of the chain 2 to close a round.
• Understand how to skip stitches.

This is NOT a beginner or absolute beginner pattern. This is an INTERMEDIATE pattern. Absolute Beginners will absolutely find this pattern out of their skill level. Advanced beginners may be able to work through the pattern, depending on their understanding of these techniques. The pattern was tested by an Advanced Beginner who had no issues.

SIZE

34 inches in diameter.

YARN REQUIRED

You will need DK (Light - 3) yarn of your choice in 3 colors.

Color 1: Approximately 272 yards or 3.2 oz.

Color 2: Approximately 370 yards or nearly the full skein with minimal scraps.

Color 3: Approximately 323 yards or 3.8 oz.

You can, of course, use a medium (4) weight or higher, but it will create a larger blanket and your yarn usage WILL differ. 

Yarn Used

The colorways originally used have been discontinued. Use any DK (Light - 3) yarn you'd like.

Note: If you alter the pattern in any way, your yarn usage will not match these requirements.
