This is a “knit-your-own-ending” pattern! You decide what toppings your hamburger or cheeseburger booties will have. :-)
These are lots of fun to make and come together quite quickly! The inner ribbed cuff helps them fit snugly on little feet. Designed for fingering weight yarn, started like a toe-up sock, then seamlessly knitted in the round, there are directions for 5 sizes (newborn to 18 months). They have an inside ribbed cuff which makes them fit snugly. These fun little booties make perfect new baby, shower, or holiday gifts.

Extra small, (Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large)
Finished sole length approximately:

Size will vary according to yarn selection and personal gauge.
MATERIALS:
--Main colour (bun) approx. 10 (12, 14, 17, 20)g fingering weight yarn
--Contrast colours (for burger, optional pickles, cheese, onion, tomato, lettuce, bacon): approx. 1-4g fingering weight yarn for each topping chosen
--US #1 | 2.25 mm needles OR SIZE NEEDED TO OBTAIN GAUGE
--Tapestry needle
GAUGE | TENSION:
Gauge is not critical, but it will affect the finished size of the booties. You are aiming for a fairly dense, rather than a loose, knitted fabric.
Approx. 32 sts = 4” | 10 cm in stockinette stitch.
SKILLS NEEDED:
Techniques include knit, purl, increases and decreases, knitting in the round, casting on, binding off.
