You get access to a page where you book your call & tell me about your travel plans - the destination, your travel style and the budget. You can find the list of possible destinations above.
2. Call with me
We’ll talk for 45 minutes via Google Meet or WhatsApp. I’ll answer your questions, share first-hand tips, and help shape your route based on my personal experiences (and mistakes I made).
3. Custom Itinerary
After our session, I’ll create a tailor-made, day-by-day travel plan just for you – including personal accommodation picks, activities, transport tips, and more. You’ll also get one round of revision included.
4. Google Lists
For Indonesia and Chile, you’ll also get exclusive access to my custom Google Maps lists – packed with my favorite sights, things to do, restaurants, cafés and bars. Perfect for on-site use and navigation with your smartphone.

Can I use this for a couple trip or a trip with friends?
Absolutely. Just let me know how you’re traveling in the form before the call. Please be aware that I can't give specific tips for traveling with children.
Do you make the bookings for me?
No – I recommend and provide links to tours and hotels but you book. This way you stay in control of your trip and budget.
How does appointment scheduling work?
When you've completed purchasing you'll be able to login to your coaching account and can find out the next steps required to book a time for your appointment from there.
What if I change my plans?
You get 1 free revision included in the service. Just reach out.

Hi, I’m Steve aka "BackPackerSteve" – a passionate German filmmaker and author of several travel guides. Over the past 15 years, I’ve traveled across 60+ countries, always aiming to go beyond the usual tourist paths.
My home base is in Hamburg, Germany but you can also find me in Portugal and South America on a regular base.
