Red Rover
Red Rover, created by John Robert Beck in 2006, began as a German Shepherd image, but as the work developed it took on its own identity and spirit. What emerged is a vivid and haunting creature portrait filled with blazing reds, layered textures, and piercing yellow eyes that seem to stare back at the viewer. The result is both animal and apparition - an abstract, unsettling, and powerful piece that feels as though it crossed over from imagination into reality.
