Example Image with Text

As the well known saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words. Add image with text sections to your sales page to visually strengthen the message your page is trying to convey. For example, you might want to introduce yourself with a profile image, showcase a smiling student or highlight something else with an image.

Switching Shoes Bundle

$10
One story, three ways to have it. Everything Switching Shoes has ever been, in a single download.

The story is told on a stage, by an alarm clock with a microphone. The cast is the joke that makes the whole thing work: the old characters are clocks — grandfather clocks with walkers, mantel clocks with canes — and the young ones are phones and tablets. Every page pairs them off. When you're young you can't wait to drive; when you're old you'd rather sit back and enjoy the breeze. When you're young you're certain nobody understands; when you're old you find out everybody did.

It ends where these things always end: one day you'll be the old one, telling someone young the same story.

WHAT'S IN THE SET
- The picture book — the full illustrated story as a PDF. About 10 minutes read aloud. Ages 4–8.
- The narrated read-along — 4 minutes 43 seconds, the complete story read aloud over music, in HD. For car journeys, the twenty minutes before dinner, and the evenings when you have no read-aloud left in you.
- The coloring book — 25 pages, with all 22 of Daniel Noriega's illustrations redrawn as line art. Print it at home as many times as you like.

$15 if you buy the three separately. $10 together.

THE ORDER THAT WORKS BEST
Read the book first. Children who meet the story on the page and then hear it narrated tend to follow along with the words; children who meet it as a video first often treat the book as a repeat.

Save the coloring book for last. Once a child knows the story, they slow down on the pages they remember — and which pages they linger on tells you which part actually landed.

A NOTE ON WHEN TO READ IT
It's tempting to reach for a book about seeing things from someone else's side the moment two children fall out. Don't. Read it on a calm day and it becomes a shared reference you can point back to later in one word — "remember switching shoes?" — which works far better than a book deployed as a rebuke while somebody is still crying.
