With the use of "Ukulele Chart Maker" you can easily create Chord Charts like those found at MyUke.ca! By entering song text data using and easy scripting format this software will generate an HTML file that you can load into a browser. The generated HTML code adds Javascript that allows scrolling. This scrolling feature makes it ideal for Ukulele Groups to project the Chord Chart onto a screen. Each HTML file generated is self-contained with chord diagrams for easy portability. Also, from within your browser you can Print your song for distribution.
Ukulele Chart Maker can be used for more than just a ukulele. With the release of v1.70 you can change chords for use with the Seagull Merlin, Grand Strumstick, Dulcimers, Baritone Ukulele, Mandolin and Violin.
Versions:
v1.00 - first official release
v1.10 - added "OnTop" and "Static Chords" functions
v1.20 - you can now save your Chord Charts to PDF format
v1.30 - allows copied repeats of sections (ex. Chorus, Verse, etc.).
v1.40 - adds fields for a Strum pattern and Capo
v1.50 - program window can be resized, ability to save chord images to external folder, ".uke" files associated with application
