Musou
Musou has a relaxed and slightly cropped fit that makes it a versatile addition to your wardrobe whether you love dresses and skirts or trousers. It is simple to change the style by adding length and the optional bust darts allow you to adjust the fit to your body.
It is an easy pattern to follow, perfect for ambitious beginners to try some new techniques and an enjoyable easygoing knit for more practiced knitters.
The jumper is worked in one piece from the bottom up to the underarm. If you want to add bust darts, you add them before splitting the front and back. Both are worked separately shaping the modified drop shoulder including decreases at the arm scye. After seaming the shoulder, stitches for a fold over neckband will be picked up and the edge will be bound off together with the stitches from the pick up row on the inside of the neckband. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and the sleeve worked from the top down. The difference in circumference is created by using the different gauges for Brioche Rib and Wasp stitch. There is only shaping at the wrist to work the cuff.
