Cycle 1 History Form 2+
Pdf schedules including the following books:
The Mystery of History Vol. 1 by Linda Lacour Hobar
Christian Worldview
Includes World History
Lined Up with Memory Work
The Mystery of History books are written from a Christian perspective and include world history. I highly recommend this book, and the audios are a great option!
This book is scheduled at a pace of three to four lessons per week from Week 1 through Week 28. Note that Volume I contains 36 weeks of lessons (three lessons per week), and Volumes II, III and IV contain 28 weeks of lessons (three lessons per week). Since STAR is a 28 week program, Volume I is scheduled at a pace of four lessons per week for most weeks.
This book could be read to younger children (Form I) as well, but it may feel like a lot of sitting and listening time for some children, since there is so much good information.
You may choose to read the chapters that line up with the memory work instead of every lesson as it is presented in the book. In this case, there are readings scheduled for this below as well.
