Noce Moscato Socks - Knitting pattern

Noce Moscato is a comfy pair of knee-high socks.
They feature two floral lace panels over the front and are worked from the toe up with a gusset. The heel is shaped seamlessly with short rows.
The legs are shaped to fit your calves. Wear your Noce Moscato socks with a skirt or dress and heavier boots. Either scrunched down or pulled up to the knee.

Sizes
Size 1: European size 36 to 37 and to fit an 18 cm (7 inch) foot circumference
Size 2: European size 38 to 40 and to fit an 19 cm (7.5 inch) foot circumference
Size 3: European size 41 to 43 and to fit an 20.5 cm (8 inch) foot circumference

These socks are best worn with a snug fit.

CALF SIZES
30 (35, 40) cm / 11.8 (13.7, 15.4) inch
Every body is different! After the heel you choose how to work on regarding your calf circumference. You can work more increases or decreases for your calf/leg shaping in the stockinette section of the back leg as well as choose your own length. It’s easy - since you can try on the knee socks and make adjustments accordingly.

Make sure you work the calf with a 15 to 20% negative easy for a snug fit.

GAUGE
34 sts and 46 rnds = 10 x 10 cm (4“) in stockinette (with 2.25 mm needles after light blocking.

YARN
Approx. 480-550 m (524-600 yds) fingering sock yarn. The yarn used in the pattern is The Fibre Co. Amble, length per 100 g skein: 325 m (355 yds).

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
2.25 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) double pointed needles or 80 cm (32“) circular needle depending on your preferred method of knitting small circumferences in the rnd.
