Araluen Socks

Chilly nights spent in front of a blazing wood fire with its crackled wood and twisted flames inspired these warm, cosy socks.

​Knit in the round and cuff down, these socks begin with a variation of a twisted rib cuff which smoothly transitions into the curved rib textured pattern (that is mirrored on the opposite foot for symmetry) before evolving into the comfortable ribbed heel.

These socks are designed to suit sock yarn while still using the same stitch pattern as:

Adult Small (Medium, Large, Extra Large)
To fit foot circumference: 17.5 (20, 23, 25.5) cm / 7 (8, 9, 10) in

Finished Measurements:
Sock circumference: 16 (17.5, 21, 23.5) cm / 6.25 (6.75, 8.25, 9.25) in

240 (280, 360, 400) m / 263 (306, 394, 438) yds of 4ply (fingering) yarn 
Shown in Malabrigo Sock yarn;
(100% superwash merino; 402 m / 440 yds per 100g skein)

2.25mm (US 1) DPNs (or size required to obtain gauge)
