Sammy and Dave
In the 1990s, in a small hotel room in Paris, two bisexual men rendezvous at a moment when neither is ready to be alone. Sammy, a restless, unpredictable lad from Yorkshire, has come to Paris chasing escape. Dave, an older and outwardly successful Australian businessman, is worn down by the married life he's left behind and searching for more — or simply something that makes sense. What begins as an awkward, casual encounter in a foreign city becomes a charged, tender, and unexpectedly humorous connection.
Across a single night — with the muffled sounds of Paris drifting through thin walls — secrets surface, boundaries blur, and the fragile space between companionship and desire is tested.
"These days, I don't want to feel responsible for loving somebody else."
Sammy and Dave is a two‑hander about sex and longing — a one‑night‑stand story set in a world before mobile phones and dating apps, when a night with a stranger could change everything.
