Complex Compass
Complex Compass is a multiplayer math review game for Precalculus. Claim squares by plotting complex numbers, converting polar coordinates, writing complex numbers in polar form, multiplying and dividing in polar form and using De Moivre’s Theorem. Get 4 in a row to win.
Skills: Plotting a + bi in the complex plane, modulus, distance and midpoint between complex numbers, converting polar points to rectangular coordinates with exact values, finding θ, equivalent polar coordinates with negative r, writing r(cos θ + i sin θ) in a + bi form and back, the argument of a complex number, conjugates as reflections, multiplying by i as a 90° rotation, multiplying and dividing in polar form, modulus and argument of powers, De Moivre's Theorem.
New problems every game, with Easy, Medium and Hard levels. Every miss shows a short explanation.
