The Diamond cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up, starting with a twisted rib hem. The twisted ribbing flows into parallel lines of twisted stitches that frame diamonds of stockinette, and the cowl is finished with a twisted rib hem at the top.

Pattern includes both charted and written instructions. Techniques required: knitting in the round, twisted stitches.

Gauge

27 sts x 36 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch

20-st Diamond motif measures approx 2¾” / 7 cm

Needles

US 2 / 2.75 mm circular, 16” / 40 cm long for Sizes 1 and 2 and 24” / 60 cm long for Size 3

Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge after blocking.
