Zeth is the Crowned Prince of Arada, southern Mastral, and an arrogant one at that. He believes he knows best and tends to speak before thinking. He has a heavy burden to bear, ruling a changing land when an adventurous country girl throws him for a loop.

Zeth is mesmerized by Nica, but his stubbornness won't concede to his heart. When the unimaginable happens and war breaks out, Zeth finds he must learn to trust his heart or risk it forever and Nica soon learns she is more than what she seems.
