Akos ZARANDY: Confluence - duo for Flute and Piano
Confluence
Confluence was composed in the spring of 2025 by the Hungarian composer Ákos Zarándy for his former students, flutist Anna Enikő Pintér and pianist Luca Laura Kovács.
Like two streams that gradually find a common course, the contrasting characters of the flute and piano first appear in opposition, then slowly shape and influence one another until they merge into a single musical flow. The title, shared by both the English and French languages, reflects this image of encounter, convergence, and unity.
