The Wing Beneath Your Wings - Volume 1

This devotional touches on real life stories that reflect the love, mercy and love of God that showed up in my life when there were moments in life when the weight of the world makes it hard to take even one more step. The burdens we carry-grief, disappointment, fear, or uncertainty-can make us feel grounded, wings clipped, dreams deferred and heartbroken. Yet, it is in these exact moments that God steps in as the wind beneath our wings.

Just as an eagle doesn't create the wind but rises by surrendering to it, so we must learn to trust the invisible but powerful presence of God in our lives every day. He is the unseen force lifting us when we cannot lift ourselves, carrying us when we feel we can't go on and picking up the pieces when we struggle putting the broken pieces back together.

When our strength is gone, His strength is made perfect. When our direction is unclear, His Spirit guides us. He gives us clarity in our crisis and when we are too weary to fly, He becomes the wind that lifts us above the storm.
