UK Edition: SEMH and Behaviour Reasonable Adjustments Checklist, SEND, KS4 and Post-16
A checklist of reasonable adjustments for pupils with SEMH needs. It is easy to list twenty supports. This checklist helps a team pick the few that every adult will actually do.
What's included
• Picking the right few: start from the data, ask the pupil, keep it doable
• Adjustments menu by area, including environment, instructions, breaks, work and communication
• Checklist to tick what you will try and who does it
• Review columns
• Notes page for the plan
How I use it
I bring it to a planning meeting with the pupil's data in hand. We look at when and where things get hard and pick supports for that time and place. Fewer supports done every day beat many done some days. Then we review in six weeks.
Useful for SEN Support plans, EHCP reviews and pupil passports. KS1 to post 16.
Format: PDF, 4 A4 pages.
