Is love ever really a choice?



Sophie Waters has always thought love was a choice you had to make, and for her, she has never been chosen. Seven months after ending her engagement, she is barely keeping herself afloat. She’s fianceless, owns her exes family’s failing restaurant, and attempting to keep her life from crumbling into shambles.

As Sophie begins to pull back from them, she has to decide whether keeping her distance is protecting them, or simply another way of refusing to be loved. For the first time in her life, Sophie is forced to ask herself whether love is something that must be earned-or whether she has deserved it all along.

It Could Be Us is a story of deep connection, discovering your worth, and the love that comes in various different forms. Sometimes the hardest thing is believing you are worthy of it in the first place.
