This is a very simple baby mitten pattern, that can be whipped up in an evening or two. They are designed to fit a baby with a wrist measurement of between 10 - 12 cm, with a little room for growing.

The mittens are worked in the round, beginning with a ribbed cuff. They are worked at a denser-than-usual gauge, to help keep little hands warm. The long cuffs and the cord are intended to keep the mittens in place. They are designed to be worn with the cuffs pulled over jumper or sweater sleeves, with a coat worn over the mittens.

The mittens are knit in the round, and then grafted together at the finger tips. They are joined together using a crochet chain or I-cord.
