With "Das Verborgene Kabarett II – Das Verlassene Zirkus," the project delves even deeper into its decadent universe, transforming the cabaret of the first volume into an abandoned circus where silence is louder than the music itself.
There is no show here.
There is no audience.
There is no applause.
Only dust suspended in the air and analog synthesizers breathing slowly like machines forgotten behind a torn curtain.
The entire compilation moves in a minimal wave dimension, essential and theatrical: dry drum machines, hypnotic bass lines, melodies as subtle as marionette strings. Every sound is measured, every pause weighs as much as an unspoken word. The approach is cold, controlled, almost detached—but beneath the mechanical surface beats a fragile, nostalgic, human heart.
"Das Verlassene Zirkus" is not a collection of songs, it is a sound environment.
An empty stage illuminated by a flickering light bulb.
Makeup dripping on the face of a clown who no longer laughs.
The aesthetic remains faithful to the darkest European synth minimalism, but here it takes on a more cinematic and introspective form. There's no gothic emphasis, no excess: just restrained tension, hypnotic repetition, and a slowly creeping melancholy.
This is music that doesn't seek to shock, but to insinuate itself.
It doesn't scream: it observes.
It doesn't seduce: it hypnotizes.
This second volume consolidates the project's identity as a true electronic theater of decadence, where analog becomes memory and silence becomes part of the composition.
A circus without spectators.
A final bow in the darkness.
