MY STORY
I Didn't Lose Myself Overnight...
I Lost Myself One Small Piece at a Time.
There wasn't one dramatic moment.
No flashing lights.
No sudden crisis.
It happened so quietly that I barely noticed.
Like so many women, I spent years doing what needed to be done.
Building a career.
Supporting the people I loved.
Looking after family.
Keeping everything moving.
From the outside, life looked full.
Successful, even.
But inside...
Something felt different.
I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
One day I realised I was making everyone else's favourite meals...
Yet I couldn't remember what my favourite meal was.
I knew everyone else's dreams.
Everyone else's schedules.
Everyone else's worries.
But when someone asked me...
"What do you want?"
I didn't know how to answer.
Have you ever felt that way?
Not unhappy.
Not ungrateful.
Just...
Disconnected.
As though somewhere along the journey...
You quietly disappeared.
The Woman In The Mirror Felt Familiar... But Not Quite Like Me
I remember looking at my reflection one morning.
I saw a capable woman.
A caring woman.
A woman who had lived.
But I also saw someone who looked tired.
Not physically.
Soul tired.
The kind of tired that comes from carrying so much responsibility for so many years.
I realised I'd become incredibly good at looking after everyone else.
But I'd forgotten how to look after myself.
Somewhere between raising families...
Building careers...
Supporting partners...
Caring for ageing parents...
Managing households...
And trying to be everything for everyone...
I'd stopped asking myself one very important question.
"How am I?"
Not...
"What still needs doing?"
Not...
"Who needs me today?"
Just...
"How am I?"
And honestly...
I didn't know.
The Question That Changed Everything
One afternoon I found myself sitting quietly with a cool drink.
For the first time in a long time...
There was nowhere I had to be.
Nothing demanding my attention.
Just silence.
And into that silence came one simple question.
"Who am I now?"
Not...
Who was I twenty years ago?
Not...
Who does everyone expect me to be?
But...
Who am I today?
The answer didn't come straight away.
Instead...
It became the beginning of a journey.
What I Discovered Surprised Me
I discovered that I hadn't lost myself.
I'd simply spent years placing everyone else's needs ahead of my own.
I discovered that my dreams hadn't disappeared.
They'd just been waiting patiently.
I discovered that it wasn't too late to learn.
To grow.
To change.
To laugh more.
To travel.
To create.
To say "yes."
To say "no."
To choose myself without guilt.
And perhaps the biggest discovery of all...
I realised I didn't need to reinvent myself.
I simply needed to remember the woman I'd always been.
That's Why I Created Who Am I Now?
As I began rebuilding my confidence, reconnecting with my values and creating a life that felt joyful again, women started asking me what had changed.
They recognised something different.
I smiled more.
I spoke differently.
I carried myself differently.
I seemed lighter.
More peaceful.
More myself.
And I realised something.
I wasn't the only woman asking...
"Who am I now?"
So many women were standing exactly where I'd been.
Feeling lost.
Feeling invisible.
Wondering if their best years were behind them.
Believing they were somehow selfish for wanting something more.
My heart broke every time I heard those words.
Because I knew something they didn't know yet.
This chapter isn't the end.
It's the beginning.
This Is The Course I Wish I'd Had
When I was searching for answers, I found plenty of advice telling me to "reinvent myself."
Start over.
Become someone new.
Push harder.
Do more.
But none of that felt right.
I didn't want to become someone else.
I wanted to come home to myself.
That's exactly what Who Am I Now? was created to do.
Not with pressure.
Not with impossible expectations.
But with kindness.
Gentle reflection.
Honest conversations.
Thoughtful exercises.
And small steps that help you reconnect with the incredible woman you've always been.
Because I truly believe this...
You haven't missed your chance.
You haven't become invisible.
You haven't lost your purpose.
Your story isn't finished.
In many ways...
It's only just beginning.
Before We Go Any Further...
I want you to know one thing.
If you've ever looked around your life and quietly wondered...
"Is there more?"
The answer is...
Yes.
And I would be honoured to walk beside you as you discover what that "more" looks like.
Let's take the next step together.
Have you ever quietly asked yourself...
"Who am I now?"
Perhaps the children have grown and started lives of their own.
Perhaps retirement has arrived...
Or it's just around the corner.
Maybe your career has changed.
A relationship has ended.
Your parents now need your care.
Or perhaps nothing dramatic has happened at all...
Except one quiet realisation.
You've spent so many years being everything to everyone else...
That somewhere along the way...
You stopped being you.
You know you're grateful.
You know you've lived a full life.
But lately...
You can't shake the feeling that something is missing.
You find yourself wondering...
"Is this all there is?"
"What do I want now?"
"Who am I when nobody needs me?"
If those questions have ever crossed your mind...
Please know this.
You are not alone.
And more importantly...
There is nothing wrong with you.
You're simply standing at the doorway to a brand-new chapter.
One that belongs entirely to you.
Imagine if, one year from today...
You woke up each morning with a quiet sense of excitement.
Not because everything in life had magically changed...
But because you had.
Imagine looking in the mirror and recognising the woman smiling back.
Feeling calm instead of overwhelmed.
Confident instead of uncertain.
Hopeful instead of lost.
Imagine making decisions without constantly wondering what everyone else thinks.
Imagine saying yes to yourself...
Without feeling guilty.
Imagine discovering interests you'd forgotten...
Dreams you'd put on hold...
And parts of yourself that have been patiently waiting beneath years of responsibility.
Imagine believing...
My best years aren't behind me.
They're just beginning.
That is exactly why I created Who Am I Now?
This Isn't About Becoming Someone New...
It's About Coming Home To Yourself.
For years you've been known as...
The mum.
The wife.
The daughter.
The caregiver.
The employee.
The friend everyone relies on.
Those roles are beautiful.
They've shaped your life.
But they were never the whole story.
Because beneath every role...
There has always been another woman.
A woman with dreams.
A woman with wisdom.
A woman with gifts still waiting to be shared.
A woman who deserves just as much love and care as everyone she's spent her life looking after.
Who Am I Now? was created to help you reconnect with that woman.
Not through pressure.
Not through impossible expectations.
But through gentle reflection.
Thoughtful conversations.
Simple exercises.
And small daily steps that quietly rebuild confidence from the inside out.
Because I believe something with all my heart...
You haven't lost yourself.
You've simply been giving so much of yourself away...
That it's time to come home again.
