How to use the resource:

  • Use the included anchor charts to review the different ways to represent fractions.
  • Distribute worksheets to students (one for 2D, 3-4 for 3D flat-backed pot of gold, 5-6 for 3D hanging mobile or garland).
  • Students complete the worksheets then color the pots. Cut the pots out, fold in half and stick them back-to-back (3D versions).
  • Creates a colorful fraction display to show off student learning.
  • Don't have time for coloring? Print on colored paper instead & just complete the fractions.
