Rita is gimping along with her friend on a winter day, her toes hanging out of plaster cast. They have been window shopping on the promenade. They are supposed to be going out tonight but Rita wonders how she'll ever manage in a single unbalanced heel to match her lil black dress and her toes obviously hanging out of her plaster cast. They are freezing even now and she asks her friend to find a bench where she can rest and massage her icy little piggies while her solicitous friend checks out her poor toes. It's a long scene with closeups, toe curling, foot play and worm's eye view. They the go back to her apartment her friend helps her pull of her single leg jean and put on her lil black dress. With shots of her long good foot and toes. To deal with her shoe problem they decide she'll wear a flat heeled black boot about the same length as her white cast and contrasting with it. So in the end she won't hobble around in a single unbalanced heel, but her cast heel will still be slightly larger. And of course her poor long exposed toes will still be hanging out of it attracting at least a lot of stares if not not guys wanting to fondle them.
